My favorite links from the past week.

  • A Roundup of Apple’s September 2019 iPhone Keynote – This morning’s Apple keynote was one of the more well-paced (even subdued) keynotes in recent memory. There was enough time to boast about some statistics, preview some upcoming subscription services, and show off some new hallmark features in all of Apple’s latest devices.
  • Inside Andy Burcham’s 1st home game as Voice of the Auburn Tigers – Andy Burcham only had a few moments to gather himself and make a quick edit to his pregame tease. Inside Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn had just honored the late Rod and Paula Bramblett — the former Voice of the Auburn Tigers and his wife, who died in a May car crash that sent ripples throughout the Auburn community.
  • He Drank 47 Cups of Coffee a Day and What Happened Was Beyond Amazing – Ever wonder what would happen if you drank WAY more coffee than you do today? Well, it turns out there’s this guy who drank the equivalent of around 47 cups a day (Americano) for almost 25 years. That’s about six gallons a day, or cumulatively enough coffee to fill an Olympic-size swimming pool.
  • Lions DE Romeo Okwara’s passion project honors New York City firehouse – BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Romeo Okwara crouches down into the corner, trying to make his 6-foot-4 frame as tiny as possible. He waits on the roof of the two-story firehouse in the Crown Heights neighborhood.
